And by the way, my friend who's working at the airport said that they would soon put up another terminal, an ILS and night landing system, and expand the runway of the Dumaguete airport...

But there seem to be very limited space for any expansion of the airport runway ,unless they seriously have done reclaiming up to those piled rocks out in sea.

 

If they expand the runway out to sea that will mess up the sealife. other way is across the highway! ...but??....

 

I really like your pics earlmj especially of the new AIRBUS A319. Last year we also went to manila with the new airbus a319 just like you and it was very comfortable. The whole crew was very friendly and they were really nice people. Did you also do the karaoke in the plain? That was very fun :D

Would love to see clip if you can. I'm flying in around May14th and by the way the fair from Manila to Dumaguete is php568??? only $11??? thats what I see on the airline site. I know things are more resonable in Philippines but how do they make money if these prices are correct. Cost me $20 to get to my local airport by cab (about 5 miles) Mind you im not complaining about $11
