Thanks we've jsut take a long term rental there !!

While i was getting my bike cleaned the other day at KKSR, i found two spent 9mm cartridges outside......guess that was my combat indicator that its not a good place to be....... I am not sure wat the shooting was all about today, is it gang, drugs or NPA, i dont know . . . .

 

Most of the shooting in Dumaguete is gang, drug, or POLITICALLY related.

reminds me of the saying...there are no losers in Philippines politics, just winners and the ones that got screwed...Friend of mine was gunned down a few years ago. Never clear what the reason was but it was a planned assassination. Really lovely guy, could never screw anybody but he got on their wrong side

 

I am not saying this did not happen to you but I have traveled that area of town many times but not at dark never have I had a bad word said to me or even spit on or toward me!! I can honestly say all the years coming to the Philippines different cities never had a dispute or threatened by anyone passing on a street or business other than me asking for the filipino Price but then they just laugh at me.....Oh!! I am sorry.... there was one time I was cursed, threatened, and spit at...... by my X filipina wife.. not sure if that one counts or not:(... Maybe no one has did those bad things to me due to me being a big ugly hillbilly from West Virgina... We spit big dark chew in a snakes eyes before it can even strike... where I am from easy shot:D.
