    My wife is from Ormoc and I have been there many times. There have been a few foreigners shot, typically for playing with young girls. There was an attempted kidnapping of some Korean golfers by NPA and I hear it is suggested that golfers be accompanied by a bodyguard. Ormoc is charming, but Dumaguete in my opinion has more to offer. Best of luck to you. Mike
