If there is one in Mercury Glorieta...you can talk to the manager of Mercury Dumaguete to get that salt 'coz there are buyers on this city, they will do that because Mercury Drug is a centralize store, one stock should be available to other branches nationwide if there is a demand on that certain product. The longest waiting time for it to be available in Dumaguete if it will be approve would be 1-2months. Speaking of that drugstore at Lee, they should be friendly enough to the customers so that the customers will buy again to that certain drugstore. They should be customer service friendly since there are lots of competitors lately, newest one is Watsons with discount card/points from SM Advantage Card and BDO rewards card. Oh, Yah! that drugstore you mentioned I considered one of the expensive drugstore on this city. How I wish SM SaveMore supermarket will be opening soon on this city and lets see what will happen to those arrogant store owners.

Every problem is an opportunity in disguise..... Foreigners are routinely ripped off for the things only they want or need..... sounds like a business opportunity to me.....be nice to have a "Big and Tall" store here in Dumaguete

That is what "Why Not" has done.....they discovered that Europeans here miss the special stuff from home..... now they provide it..... smart
Maybe some smart American will do it for us.....

A "Big and Tall" store here in the PI would provide cloths for what??? Anyone over 5'6" and more than 150lbs?? hahaha

Heres something a guy told me. The sausages that they sell at YNot are the Gormet brand sausages you can get at Hypermart, they are just repackaged and marked up. I did a test and found he was right, there was no difference... except the price.

YNot is way too expensive and tricks like these have told me, "DONT GO THERE".

I am not a fan of Why Not.....and yet now I find myself defending them
..... Most of their products are demonstrably European in origin..... I am even sure he has the appropriate import documents..... beyond that he has tailored his menu to European tastes.....as to him creating fake labels and repackaging local meats.... I find that difficult to believe.... I have found meat there I could not find at any other store.....

BUT regardless the concept is valid..... provide services people want

As to "big and tall"...... I guess you think you are being funny.....most of the foreigners I know can not find the clothes they want at realistic prices.... I have been charged $100 for a shirt..... and Filipinos get the same shirt for $10
...... when I asked 'WHY?" they smiled and said there is more material in the big shirt.... yet the smallest shirt is not cheaper than the medium shirt.....BULLSHlT...... most foreigners are forced to buy clothes at the thrift store....USED.....again at higher prices than they are worth

I go into a thrift store and try to buy some books..... the price is $20 to $30.... my Filipina wife can buy the same books for $10 the following day

FACE REALITY Foreigners are often punished......just because they are foreigners and possibly have more money

First off, YES, I was trying to be funny but as always missing the mark.

As for YNot, I was telling you about an experiece I had with the sausages. As for the rest of the food items, the resturants... Heck, I dont know.
If you like it, cool. I like alot of the items on the menu as well I just found a cheaper alternative to the sausages at YNot.

And really folks, I understand YNot is an institution here in Dumaguete and I hope you dont destroy me too bad for sharing.
