its done to get around PI employment regulations in terms of benefits for permanent employees. It maintains your permanent employees as temporary. You see similar kinds of practices in the States

After 6 months working, an employee becomes permanent and gains tenure. Once in this tenured status, an employee cannot easily be fired. They must make multiple severe infractions before the employer can fire them or else the tenured employer can file a case for back wages, reinstatement, etc with the Department of Labor. Once a business owner gets bitten they almost always go to the 6-month contract model so as to never have any permanent employees.

"Can not be easily fired".....seems the solution is to pass right to work laws..... which enable the employer to fire without reason instead of creating a system that makes it advantageous to circumvent labor laws..... this way Social Security means nothing.....minimum wage laws mean nothing ????

Are people under contract subject to minimum wage laws?.....or can they be paid whatever the parties (employer) deem appropriate

What about income tax.....does the employer report or submit income tax on contract employees

What about health insurance? Does the employer provide health insurance on contract employees?.....or permanent employees

that's because they don't need Filhealth....if someone gets sick she/he just comes to you (or another foreigner in the family) and asks if you "can help with hospital bills" or medicines. That's as much planning and forethought that goes into this sort of thing.

That is not just here.... there are greedy employee and greedy employers everywhere.... what I am interested in is the employment environment HERE .....

I have several business ideas but I NEED to know the facts before I can create a marketing plan...... trying to run a business for six months is an EXPENSIVE way to learn a simple lesson others have learned before you ......
