    what i do i send it through forex philippines. they can send you a box for free and pickup the box. it takes about six weeks to arrive in dumaguete from the US. here in phoenix their number is 602.828.2215. the courier name is jayjay. you can ask from him out of arizona state contact for pickup. charge is about 100 USD regular balikbayan box. the post office charges about 25 USD to dumaguete for a shoebox size package and takes about two weeks.

    Iv'e never sent anything to Dumaguete through Fedex. But i have sent extremely important documents to the Philippines with no problem at all.

    I'm sure there's different experiences in there but i've alwasy heard that UPS etc....are less reliable. I would prefer to use Fedex and jsut let my GF pick up at the office.

    Just to be on the safe side I would give her a list of what's in there. So that if the package is opened due to customs...she would know if somethings missing or not.
