Hey prog, huwag kang magsabi nang ganyan. Here's my question for you prog, what language or dialect would you prefer to speak if you meet someone who doesn't speak visayan, other than tagalog? :D

Buyo, yes, my gran had a plant (it was a vine actually) and people in the neighborhood used to ask for a few leaves. Iyang humot distinctive kaayu. Never tried chewing tilad, smoked ciggies instead. Gungals na diay ka? :D

When we stayed at Bethel Hotel last May, Kamikazee Band was having a gig in Dumaguete and stayed the same hotel. They were so popular that when they had breakfast, we could hardly get our food as it was chaos. Never know them and texted my niece who was in Dipolog City at that time. She got on board the fast craft on that very day just to see them in person. She adores them and she let us listen their songs and I must admit, they are really, really good.

For these artists who happened to entertain pinoys abroad made me proud of them. They have talents and we should support them as Pinoys.   As I am proud to be one.

I do agree with you chrissar 100%. In Las Vegas there are pinoy artists who had performed in very prestigious casinos like Ceasar's palace, Ballys, MGM, Monaco and more, and they still do. Pilita Corales also had performed there several times. Look at Lea Salonga, she became famous in Broadway in New York. Yes, we can be proud of them.

And I've seen Lea Salonga performed here in the UK ages ago and she made me cry and so, so proud that it's Pinoy who played the prime role.....
