D_guru.....you had a good guess....after a second look and some questions, you are right. It is an exact copy of a iPhone made in China. As far as I can see, an EXACT copy. But Rudy Mae says there is NO support or repairs available for it, so if there is a problem you are out of luck.
There was a big problem in the US before I left with Chinese iPod Nanos. I had one on my Harley that I paid $155.00 for at Wal-Mart and then found them in several gas stations for $39.95, and it was an exact copy including the plastic case that it came in. The only difference was the jack on the bottom. Instead of the standard iPhone/iPod jack, it had a mini USB. And the Chinese knock off had a FM radio that my Apple did not.
I bought two of them for my grandkids and then went back to buy more and was told that they were "told to stop selling them" by a letter from the AG office in Texas.
You have to admit, them Chinese are good at knock offs.

And.....in Plaza Fair here they sell a perfect copy of a Rolex for $78.00 US. I just sold my gold Date-Just before I came here. I figured that it would look out of place here AND I don't really need to know the time any more.
