    Forest Park

    Forest Camp has four family cottages for guests who wish to spend the night, five small huts great for picnics, one function hall, two natural pools and a cascading waterfall and a beautiful landscaped garden.

    To cut down on costs, all materials used to make up the cottages are bamboo and nipa – both inexpensive indigenous materials that can be sourced anywhere in the province.

    Architecture has kept to the native feel – the huts are designed to resemble traditional Filipino houses. Rates begin at 500 Peso for a half day use of the hut.

    Indeed a great place, but forget it on the weekends, you will be bumping shoulders and everything else like sardines with the multitudes.:cool:..........unless you like crowds of course, then you will be in your element.:thumbsup:

    Totally Disagree with you, we were there this Sunday and it was a pleasure to be there. Plenty of People but not as you suggest. When you actually live here Roger you can gauge a little better your comments on these things. Again, visiting Tourists see things so very Differently from those of us that spend more time at these places :wideyed:

    JP :bag::wink:

    Your comments are totally out of line actually JP, but I forgive you due to your obvious ignorance of my situation, and you only think you know.....:cool:...........and anyway, we each have to put up with the others comments, as this is a Forum.:thumbsup:

    I call it as I see it mate, the times I have been there during the week, no problem, I have attempted to attend on Sundays in particular, and have turned back due to the crowds and traffic jams. That was twice, what happens on every other Sunday of the year, I would not know. And by the way, I spend enough time here over the years to know what this area is like. Maybe I am not in love with it as much as you are, but there you go. Different strokes for different folks..........maybe I picked the wrong Sundays over a 10 year period...........just bad luck I guess........lol...............:poop:

    Maybe your definition of a crowded sardine can is different to mine, you may like hordes of people to mix with........so be it...........:smile:

    Oh, and PS: by the way I am not here on a Tourist Visa............:cool:

    Everyone is free to share their experience with the place. No need to turn a thread about a nature park into a debate.

    We were at forest camp for our kids birthday a few weeks ago with our helper and his family and some friends, a great time was had by all, cool and refreshing pools of clear clean water was so nice in this heat!
    We even hiked up the river for some way with the kids toward caseroro falls as our helper lives in the area. Great place for a day out!
