    Have a Filipino "agent" inquire and then you will probably get a more realistic price. Its common here for people to ask extraordinarily high prices initially so they have a lot of room for negotiation. A friend was quoted P30T per month for one place and ended up renting it for P13T. That's 57% less than the initial asking price...

    Check your private messages here. I'm sending you some directions and contact info about a place in town that a friend used to lease. She told me today she thinks the rent is P25,000/month. Not a bad location either.
