    Two planes?
Philippine air has 2 daily flights between Manila and Dumaguete as well as Cebu Pacific.
Each flight good for 124 seats, makes 496 seats in and 496 seats out of Dumaguete.
Plus some CP flights from and to Cebu every week.

    exactly.

 firefly, this was my original statement some months ago. I am pleased that you have put it so plain and clear. I am still not sure that 496 passengers per day would have a content, that require hotel rooms, so I will go back to what I said in my post on the thread, Dgte just does not have the capability of getting the tourists here as and when they want to be here. my Question was and still is " Do we need more hotels? " it really is a chicken and egg situation.

My Answer is NO, at least not yet for 10 or 20 more years.
Dumaguete is not a tourist city, nor is Negros Island.
Don't let the world know about the Friendly/Gentle people of Dumaguete, lets keep it our secret.

Well, any place in the world that has a Disneyland has also many hotelrooms.
Now that Disney is also in Dumaguete....
Indeed a chicken and egg situation.

What city in the world has the largest number of hotelrooms? Right, Las Vegas.
So if Dumaguete might have to many hotelrooms, just built a few casinos and make Dumaguete the second gamblingcity in Asia together with Macao.
