Breakfast at McD. I only do a takeout order a couple of time a week on the way home from the gym but I notice a high number of the same westerners there, presumably americans, there all the time. Are they a clique or early risers shooting the breeze? Wonder if they are forum contributors. I only know one of them and unfortunately I believe he had to take his daughter to the US for possible child cancer problem. I pray for them for a successfully solution. Good luck D.

    McD's.

 Pat! some time ago, we had a little squabble here with the Non knowers telling us all, that we knew nothing, Of course I am sorry to hear about a Sick child but then, there is always the occasion where Peter cries Wolf!, It would appear that at that time, all the Naff information was coming from what was described as the McD's Breakfast club. I hope you have not taken offence to my comments on this. As you say, you will see the same faces every day there. For me, Nothing wrong with McD's as long as you don't drink the dish water ( Coffee) :D

No offense taken Jack. I wondered what the situation is there as I merely pass in and out non-stop. It is sort of surreal observing the atmosphere, never saw that in any other of the countries I have lived in...

PatO, if there is a day you get bored, you should go there one morning and sit for 2 hours just observing. It is surreal but a mirror of the expat community in Dumaguete which is 100% different to all other cities I traveled to in the last 9 years in the PI (not judging if that is positive or negative). Well, having said that, there are quite some other places for observing.
... of course bikerdave can't be missed in missed out like mentioned before in the best burger list.

Too bad that we are migrating away from the consuming topic of burgers. I suppose that breakfast at McD's is close enough.

The morning expat crowd seems attracted by the gratis Wi-Fi. It could also be the brewed coffee and not the brown fluid to which so many are addicted.

Annabelle is impressed by the kindness displayed by so many foreigners in taking their Filipina grand-daughters out to breakfast

Not much longer to get a burger of Biker Dave's descent, place closing soon. (If not already)
