yipeee, i think one drove past me yesterday, a real noisy thing, should be able to drown out most of the noise problems, if you leave it ticking over outside your house lol

And Iloilo, Bacolod, Ormoc as well as Cebu, etc. :D
(Oz Racing in Cebu, provides a place to O/H specialist bikes if you don't want/can't ride them up to Manila for servicing. You'll still need to pay the relevant, certified mechanics to fly down from Manila to come down and work on them, (you'll have to include accomodation and food of course too ).
Alternatively, if you don't care about your safety or your vehicle's condition in the long run too much, there are a couple of "local lads" in Dumaguete, who can try and help you.

    Harley's

Did you ever find out how to get bikes over there cheaper? How about in parts, then reassemble? I will contact some Outlaw, friends in Carcar,Cebu and see what they have to say. I was told to send it in Balikbayan boxes, as long as you have a connection for getting it registered. If so, then it beats the hell out of shipping it with taxes. I was told by my forwarder that they will take it right to my front door in Leyte, with no problems, so the only issue is getting it registered.

Customs are intending to close that door very soon or so the rumour mill has it, I'm afraid. (Thanks "Uncle Noy-noy" et al.) There are a lot of good quality Harleys for sale in Cebu at the moment, at least 10 in one showroom I know. Prices aren't that outrageous and all come with complete papers unbelievably:D!

    Used Bikes In Cebu

The bikes in Cebu, are still double the price as the USA. Please prove me wrong and send me a link. Most bikes I have seen online even a 1988 Softail, and they wanted $18,000 USD. That's f*cking nuts. I will take my chances sending over a Sportster with a rigid frame setup and see what happens. I am open to suggestions though. And if anyone needs Harley part I can send them to you via balikbayan and you will get the parts in 30 days wiht no taxes. I have sent thousands of dollars of parts to Cebu and Leyte in the past. I know parts are not a problem for sure.

There's usually a 100% import duty on most motor vehicles, hence the prices, guess one has to live with it or walk.
