Why do you have so many questions?

 

These are 2005 results of a survey of SME business owner and managers across the country. The Philippines Cities Competitiveness Ranking Project put together by the Asian Institute of Management. Lower numbers are better....ie 1 is the best. Davao doesn't surprise me as the highest ranked big city. The best scoring mid-sized city, Bacolod, doesn't surprise me either. Iloilo is a very close second too. In the small category...Tagbilaran scoring 1 for Quality of Life was a surprise...low crime rate must have helped a lot there....and no demerits for trike noise. Anyway, another survey for 2007 is due for release in the next month or so...Some interesting numbers in this survey...

Only a fraction of Goldenfield could be called sleazy with the Angeles type of entertainment and prostitution. A lot of Goldenfield is fairly normal clubs and restaurants with a lot of families going there. Can't believe the comment about underage prostitutes there either. Never heard of it. Cops are reasonably competent and that is one area the local government would not tolerate.
