    internet

 All Joking apart Bob, off the street to me is just not safe, You can research this issue on line and get good advice from professionals. If you are really serious about this you can even buy them online. Always a come back then. Talk to a pharmacist, they usually have good advice, I would ask for a Blood pressure test too, I read that these things can be risky some times if your Blood Pressure is not right. Hope all goes well for you.

The best thing is to go and see a doc for a quick check up and ask for a prescription. Next best would be to buy over the counter in one of the legitimate pharmacies. They usually don't require a prescription. I would use the stuff sold on the boulevard as a last resort. I hear of people having mixed results but that is also true of the genuine stuff. Fortunately I haven't heard of anyone having serious adverse effects from using the boulevard stuff.

    I talked to my cardiologist

I ask him, if I could take those hard-on pills, and he said, "If you want to die, sure". Than he went on to say that with my heart problems I would probably have a massive heart attack before I could get my pants off.
As for you that think this is a laughing matter you just wait until old age introduces you to "MR. ED" and I'm not talking about a horse that talks.
It is my experience that a Filipina is better than any pill, and if you are so drunk that a young man needs a pill to get it up he needs to quit the booze. Why do you think it (booze) is classified as a depressant?

You're spot on there Jim. I think Robinz (Bob) who started this thread expected a few smirks, but for those that have met "Mr. Ed" it can be quite distressing, particularly if they are in an otherwise close and loving relationship. All men, regardless of age, will go through periods when their old fella doesn't work, and the blue pill should be used as a means of giving the system a kick-start, rather than becoming reliant on it. In the UK, it is only prescribed under strict medical conditions. Blood pressure is checked, medical records are scanned, and cardiographs and blood tests may also be taken, as well as checks for diabetes, just to make sure that you are able to benefit with minimal side effects. Anyone using this stuff without going through the sensible checks is just playing Russian Roulette with their life, and it should never be taken with alcohol. If you are not suitable for it, you run the risks of heart attacks, vastly increased blood pressure, serious vision defects which may be long lasting or even permanent, and worst of the worst - Priaprism. This is where the hard on stays hard and won't go down, and needs immediate hospital attention. If left untreated, it can develop in to gangrene - just think about it, gangrene in your old man which might lead to amputation - worse than death.

Again, you are spot on when you say that a loving partner is the best solution, as long as she is both understanding and patient.

Good advices from a lot of people. Jim .... you made me laugh with your remarks about the attack before the pants down :D
But I am somewhat worried now since it has been 6 days ago that Robinz did put his posting and asked for advices.
Should he possibly have not been able to read these serious reactions in time and has done the other thing in order to help the sales people at the boulevard but isn't able anymore to answer us ?

It is always best to see your doc first before taking any medication. If you take medication for hypertension or prostrate problems you definitely want to see your doc before taking Viagra or any of the other ED medications. If you take take nitrates as used in angina medication you must see your doc before taking these medications. If you take alfa blockers you should see your doc first. Viagra is a vasodialator meaning that it causes the walls of the blood vessels to relax. This can lead to hypotension or low blood pressure not hypertension or high blood pressure and can lead to dangerously low blood pressure when taken by people using the above medications. Healthy guys over 65 should start on the lowest dose available 25mg. and see how that works. Don't take it more than once in a 24 hour period.

In addition to priapism, a rare but serious side effect, get medical assistance if you loose sight in one eye or your hearing is affected.

This is not meant to be medical advice but just a caution to those who choose to ignore the advice to see a doc first.
