Hi Jack P. Live last lived in a small town called Burnley thats where I 1st meet Bob in the 60's a long time ago now. I have lived all over the UK, but was born in barrow-in-Furness. Always up north. How about you Jack. Where do you hale from.

Hi Ten Pin, as you can see from the header I hale from Kidderminster, (Worcs)
The reason I asked, was that when I was stationed at Finningley (Doncaster) I came across a Bowler (Army) who seemed to have Bowled all over the UK, seems every where I got Stationed, his name came up when Bowling came into the conversation, Even in KL, HK, Singapore and Cypress, His name is Don Dixon and came from SCUNTHORPE. I just wondered if either you or bobbyjoe had come across him. Btw, I have been to Burnley and only once to BIF, Brrrrrrr Cold and Bleak As with most of us ex-mob, we tend to get all over and end up nowhere near home. I have been away from the UK now 25+ years, In Gibraltar, I was demobbed but my last posting was HK during the handover. Been here around eversince and the rest as they say is history. Although I am back in europe at this time, I am still working and do some 4/5 months a year. fully retire in 2013 If I make it

Hi Jack P. I never came across that name, but it sounds like me. I have bowled in all the AMF Centers in the UK up to 2005. I past the instructors exam so I became AMF Burnley's coach. I was also the league coordinator (played in most). Bob and myself where a double team for a few years.
Bob invited me to HK for a holiday. I fell in love with the place and never left only to come to the Philippines in 2007. Now I am looking to get the visa changed from tourist. :D
