Exactly!!!your right so, as a catalysts of this nation as early as now we must initiate things that would reduce the rapid occurrence of problems especially in preserving our environment. In matters like this, we must do it first by our own and to the people in order for them to become aware on what is happening now. Would you agree?
For years, people have remained in the same mindset while their surroundings are changing. The 21st century needs to be the Century of Change. Make your existence be a catalyst of this change in your everyday life and help to convince others to do so as well. Separately we can do nothing, but together we can do so much.

There are many different ways in which we can save the earth. Here are some:

1.) By simply switching off the unused lights.
2.) When charging your cellphones or any gadgets, make sure that you don't use it while charging and after charging make sure that the battery is fully charged.
3.) When leaving the house for a long period of time, pull all of the plugs.
4.) In buying appliances, you should buy those who have high efficiency this will help to not waste electricity.
5.) Throw your garbage in a proper disposal.Don't burn your garbage.Thus, bury those garbages that will decompose and recycle those that will not.
6.) Use cloth instead of plastic.

In doing these things, you can save the earth plus you'll be safe from the bad things that can happen.

 

Well. In Norway it is now about 3 years since Smoking was prohibited in restaurants an Inside public areas.It was predicted a disaster financial for the restaurants. Well, it didnt at all, and nowadays I'll say that 95% of the population embrace this law. Even around 80 of the smokers aggrees. What it really does is changing our mindset to tobacco.
But aggree in relating it to climate change is nonsence.
Even Co2 as main factor in climate change have a hard time defending its role as green house gas. Water wapor is rating 95% in this role.Today Co2 level is 385 PPM (or 0,385%) 540 million years ago the co2 level was 7000 PPM or 7%. Still the temperature sank.
So from my point of wiew the hysteria about CO2 is a waste of time.
I am as a "Peak Oil'er" very much aware of the fact that we in a hurry needs to replace Oil as the main sorce of energy.We are allready in front of facing the beginning of the end of oil.
But it is possible to have to thoughts in the head at the same time. I am not ready to put a lie abot CO2 in system to get the change of attitude to fossil fuels. But we need sustainable chemical energy in a hurry.
