Yes it did Jack, seas around Iceland and Norway and the Atlantic ocean.

The EC closed most of the fishing rights from the UK.

I seem to remember that the Spanish fleets where fishing with smaller size nets
and exceeding quotas than allowed to the Uk, wasn't it called "Fishing War" ?

If you go to a real market, that's where you find fish sold at lower cost. The goods in Rob are so high-priced because of the place. You pay a higher price for comfort I guess.

" Place" is an expensive fish here in UK too, :D
Fish ( COD) and chips from a take-away around p350,
The first time I tasted fresh Tuna was in the Philippines. Fish prices here in UK are so expensive most people only eat fish about once every two weeks!
Frozen fish is the cheapest say 5 small fillets p245, in UK money £3,50p and I never knew Fish had finger's

Talking of Sheep.....I have never figured out why Lamb is so expensive when they graze on the Mountains of "Britain" ( jimeve) in their thousands. It's as expensive as Fish!
The fact is, it's becoming harder to live here in UK with the " High price" for everthing.
Watch out for all the Ex pats arriving in PI.
