When I bought my Kawasaki Rouser 200 from Emcor, they kept me supplied with temporary permits, at no charge, until my plates came in.
I did not know it until this year, that my number plates are good for 3 years. This year all I had to do was get insurance and go to LTO for new registration. The bad side is that they won't give me a 2011 sticker, saying that I don't need it because I have 3 year
number plates. I now carry a spare copy of the registration in my wallet for the LTO checkpoints.

    Test ride????? Not in Phils.....

A decent service department???? That is only a joke here. I had a nail in my rear tire and did as the owners manual said and returned it to the dealer for "proper repair". He took the rear wheel off and took it to a vulcanizing shop gown the street. I now carry a tubeless tire plug kit with me.

Your "scheduled maintenance" consist of changing the oil only. So, you had better be able to do everything else yourself as I do.
