does it cost for a San Miguel beer? An I-net friend wants to know but I do not drink so I have no idea of it's cost. He said he drank a lot of then at 25 centavos each. I'm beaten they cost a lot more these days.

i assume he means 25 peso. 25 centavos won't be an appropriate price, at least not the last 35 years (the time a former "study-project" of me goes back)

    San Miguel Reduce prices!

 According to Google 5 mins ago, San Miguel have reduced this Month a 320ml Bottle to 9p per Bottle. They did not say if that was til current stocks run out.

I am not that sure about that... you referring to an article from 1997.

SMB in the shop is 20 peso. Ice cold available in Dumaguete from 25 peso and up

When I arrived late 1997, it was P13 at the local hang out for a cold one.
and the U.S.D exchange rate was 29 to the Dollar.

Hello, I'm Pablo Martinez. I have been an admirer of your website for quite some time . I have visited Dumaguete a few times in the years gone by. I first came to the Philippines a young U.S. Marine in 1972 the rate of exchange was US $1.00 to P6.78 Where it remained until about 1982 a cold SMB could be had for a Peso at Peso Jimmys a popular Sari-Sari store hangout Sailors and Marines.
