    Deep Thought!

 Pong! Welcome to DI. I have thought about this a great deal. Unless you have transgressed some how, or you have a really healthy bank balance, I see no reason for you to require a lawyer at all. I have in posts past said as much to others, There is no such thing as an IMMIGRATION Lawyer, we have Lawyers who specialise in immigration, the Rules of immigration are clear, concise and as a matter of fact, Quite simple. Fill the form in, Pay and await the result. If you are Married to a National, apply for a 13a, If a Student, apply for a Student Visa, Quota Visa is a No No for 2010. Permanent Visas require a Bank balance and supporting evidence of residence, retirement visas require you to be retired and in receipt of a Pension, You do not state WHY, you need a lawyer, tell us all and lets see what, as a forum we can come up with for you.
