    Be careful your sounding like one of my stateside Filippina GF's. She always said she wanted someone to care for her and take care of her while her GF's kept pushing me to marry her even though I only dated her a few months. In the end she is not the one I married. I chose the one who took her time and with whom I developed a trust for. That is the best way.

    You Are So Right Pedro... :smile:
    Its best to take time and wait to make sure the love you want has been tested by time. Whats the use of rushing it and in the end it will not work out. So take your time.. this is not a fairy tale.. its the real a real world.. its not always fun...

    As a senior retired aussie guy,and having been to DGTE a few times over the years,I was packing up here and coming over for an extended period.
    I can get a visa for 59 days.So if I want to stay on,I've been told i will have to leave the country and re enter on another 59 day visa.
    Can you please tell me if this is the way to go.
    I'm in my 70s and looking at spending my remaining time there,as I found the climate and social life to my liking.
    I will be on a pension of about A$1200 a month,do you think I could have a decent life there.
    I will also have a fair bit in reserve if I sell my house here.
    By the way,I love a nice cold SM or two...no balut though!

    you can stand up to 24 month in the PI.

    You can either apply for the first waiver (from 21 days to 59 days) in your homecountry or just in Duma at the immigration.

    After that you can extend your visa for 2 month up to 24 month before leaving the country.

    1200 should be ok to have a decent life here.

    i know..im careful..im pretty sure about my feelings to him..but i have doubts sometimes if he really likes me or if he is just going with the flow..
