Many of these places don't have a fraction of the foreigners that Negros Oriental has. Why are they giving out exit visas in these locations and not Dumaguete? Naga? I spent 3 days in that city and only remember seeing around 5 foreigners. I'm sure there are plenty there if they have a field office that close to the district office in Legazpi but it can't possibly have as many foreigners as Dumaguete.

Just read that there is a plan (resurrected) to merge the two Negros provinces into one and they say that will better enable the establishment of government offices to eliminate the need to go to Cebu or Iloilo.

But I don't see why a population cannot be served whether it is formed from two groups or one on the same island.

Just a little bit off topic but If you like Formula 1, there is a really good series on Netflix.
Formula 1 Drive to Survive. The series covers some of the highlights of the last few seasons but it also cover the behind the scenes of Formula 1. It covers the stories behind the teams, the sponsors and the politics of the sport. Lots of driver interviews, some of those guys are pretty cool and others are just dorks. It worth watching in my opinion.

Just returned from a 4 day/ 3 night stay in Singapore to complete the exit visa. Now on a BB Visa and it feels great to be back. Singapore was a blast as I was at the Formula one race (about as close as one can get) Rained 75% of the time but still saw the sites etc.

The bureaucracy of it all was as usual (ridiculously, ridiculous) as per norm.
