    Imbarot is correct. Even though Mr. Lu is building my house on the ocean, it is still very close to the Nat. Highway.

    His subdivision is off the highway somewhat I believe on a non paved road. It could develop into a nice subdivision, but it is in the beginning stages right now. However, that may mean you could get a better deal.

    I have talked to one of the residence in the subdivision they said 8 to 10 min. to the wet market in Dumaguete. Your right no street in the subdivision. But there are a few big homes around this house we veiwed. And some are on the marked but lots are small not much room around the houses. 2.9 mill. and up. The house we are looking at 7 yrs. old has 3 separate concrete fenced in lots, 3 large steel entry gates, lots totalling 1200 sqm. The center lot has a large 2 story house, 3 good size bedrooms, 3 baths, 2 kitchens, dinning room with beauiful wood bar & bar chairs, living room, 2nd flr TV room with balcony, aircond in parts of the house, concrete & tile waiting shed with table & chairs, car port, House comes fully furnished with real nice furnishings. Beautiful land scaping with flowers, trees, and other kinds of growth.
    The left side lot of the house has a large concrete and steel car port with a concrete tool shed and comfort room. A deep well. All kinds of fruit trees. The right side lot is large has fruit trees on it no structures. Ready to build on if we choose to sell it. But no street in front!! Probaby won't be in my life time :-) All this.. they want 3.1 mil. Read to move into. Is it a good deal? Honestly!!!! Let me know your experience looking at properties. I know it is a ways out on town, but I have a 4 wheel drive van.

    Actually MaryAnn, I think you're closer to Duma from the subdivision, than I am from my oceanfront house. When I contracted with Mr. Lu, we added in a private, paved road from the national highway directly to our house.

    If I remember right, the subdivision isn't that far off the highway, so the drive on a gravel-dirt road isn't that far.

    The price to me seems very fair considering how much you are getting. As mentioned you can ask Mr. Lu to show you our house if you ever decide to build so you can see what else he does.
