Stokie, we could probably give you a closer cost of living range if you want to share more. Rent a house or apt? Have a car, motorbike, or trike? Need cable tv? Need internet? Two cell phones? Utilities are not too expensive need to be considered, any ongoing medications required? Wife on Philhealth insurance? Need to travel anywhere? And what are your eating and drinking requirements. Food at the market is not cheap. I agree with some of the other posts, I think you would need double that to live here. Good luck working out a solution.
