We just arrived back at Sibulan airport last night and I find it strange that a lot of construction work is going on such as new concrete being laid. If there is going to be a new airport any time soon then this seems a waste of money. Also there is now new trolleys at the luggage collection area although there is hardly enough room to manoeuvre them in such a small space. Anyway I suppose they can always relocate the trolleys to the new airport.
As someone mention earlier, it took 18 years to finish the airport in Panglao on Bohol, so don't expect the timeframe will be different here, just hope the trolleys in Sibulan can last that long lol
The same as when they raised the road from the shell in Mangnao going south around 8 inches, no culverts so the people living on the uphill (west side ) of the hiway who used to have to trudge around in ankle deep water when It rained now have it knee deep.. best engineers and exported all over the world but forgot to put culverts in..
A year and a half has past... Any news about the airport? How you reckon the current Covid situation will affect? Anyone knows if the map posted awhile ago is still the intended placement of the runway? Thx
it's somebody's dream, same as the water bus between santander and cebu city. https://dumagueteinfo.com/board/threads/new-cebu-to-santandare-ferry.32432/
