⌛ Just another funny story

About 6 weeks ago, I had to travel to Singapore on a consulting job.
On my return trip, I changed clothes into my normal shorts, t-shirt and slippers for the flight home.
I had a 6 hour lay-over in Manila.
While sitting in the airport playing a game on my phone (killing time), there were two young filipina ladies (girls) sitting across from me chatting in Visayan. After a while, one of them looked at me and said "you're married aren't you?" I replied that I was. She then said "and your wife is a filipina?". I replied that she was and then asked how she knew. She smiled and said "look at your feet" and they both laughed.
Just before I left, my wife had given me a pedicure and as always, put on clear polish.
Something that I guess would only be noticed here.
And, I would never admit this to my wife, but females here DO look at a mans feet (just as she has said).

 

So very true, my asawa when I return from long stays on assignments will look at my feet first. She says that is how she knows it is really me.

 

Well I Never!

:D I thought it was only me that happened to, What a relief!

 

The first time my wife did my toe nails, I got Sh^%t from my friends saying something like gay. Haa Haa WRONG!!

 

Wait till she starts on your hair

 

I will get it cut off tomorrow. Haa Haa :D

 

I can understand the pedicure, but not the nail polish! ROFL!

 

The nail polish is clear, of course, and it "makes them look cleaner" so she says. But I have started noticing other men (because I was self-consious) and they are all like me. I guess it's a wife-type thing. As long as I'm not the only one, I can live with it.

 

I guess I am one of the few that does not have their toenails painted with polish, clear or otherwise! :D

 

For me, I vote no polish and I even trim my nails myself
now.
