A cold shower in the morning, a shot of raw egg and worster sauce one is sobered up to meet the world on two wheels and a pair of peddals. No drinking cycling is out of the question. But cycling is good to get rid of that 20 pounds of tummy weight, lol

adventure dive, harolds mansion and dumaguete outdoors offer bicycle rentals. but it is quite expensive as they only occasionally get customers, but u may be able to negotiate a good longer term deal

But you can buy one as cheap as 1700 peso US$30-35 or so, not the top notch mountain bike but they get you where you want to go.

thanks, I must have been sleepwalking when I was over, since I spend a lot of time at adventure diveshop (and missed plenty of other stuff there as well, like their bookexchange).

I would support more bike riding myself and for transportation around Dumaguete it seems they would be well suited for the job as long as carry alot of items is not your goal. The balloon or beach tire bikes would be best, I don't think I could recommend the racing tires, the streets there are just not developed enough for them.
