    How do you know you are all talking about the same shaman?
    Emelda Marcos sent to Siquihor to get some "healer" a woman named Boscia Bulongon. given a large sum by Marcos to remove a curse, she was killed by her son to get the money. She was supposed to be impervious to metal weapons, so he simply beat her to death with a wood plank...

    There was another guy that Andy Kauffman (U.S. Comic) came to see, he believed that in his desperation that this guy could pull diseased organs from the body without surgery. there is actually a video of this floating around, Not on Kauffman however.

    Shamanism can be a powerfull force, but on Siquihor more theater exists than help. I know you wanted no advice, but know who you are seeing before you go.

    Hi, there! Are you also from the Island of Fire? My family was able to get some torta "bring house" from Larena this year.

    Yes, Jo, my Mom is from the Island of Fire but our family is not into "barang". I once visited Cang-alwang in San Juan where a cousin pointed out a hut where a "healer" lived.
