I'm thinking that Mr. Rhoody would bark at me if I posted that info. This chat board has to watch their legal backsides. So, feel free to email me my address is grandpainak @ yahoo . com just take out the spaces, you know. I am always glad to met new friends.[/QUOTE]

Hi Jim, I think there should be a way for us to name & shame these people. I was conned here in Davao by a German guy. It took me 3 years to get a court order for a repayment schedule that allows him to pay it back over 10 years! I'm still so angry about it & I put his name everywhere I can. He is also a serial con artist with about a dozen foreigners and local businessmen who are innocent victims with very little recourse to get their hard earned money back.

Andy, I have to laugh at your comment in general. Being a "foreigner" makes you (us) subject to getting screwed on a daily basis.
Again, someone here said that the price of anything and everything is one price if your wife buys it alone. Add 25% if you are with her. Add another 25% if you are by yourself.
Remember that here we are ALL "rich foreigners" regardless of how much or how little money we have.
I depend on my wife to keep the prices correct when buying anything. She does a great job.
I also buy a lot locally where people know us.
