Had a Dgte McD combo yesterday.. The drink was smallish as was the pkg of fries. The Big Mac wasn't anything special.. I used to think Cebu McD was as good or better than US, but who knows?

They don't serve breakfast 'yet', nor is there any home delivery available 'yet'.

We did run into an old friend from Dauin there, so it wasn't a total loss.

The manager sure looked familiar. Maybe from Cebu McD ? I'll have to ask her if I'm going by.

At least their aircon seemed up to the task.

CHICAGO (AP) -- McDonald's Corp. says its first-quarter profit rose 24 percent as the fast-food company benefited from the weak U.S. dollar and strong global sales.

For the January-March period, the suburban Chicago company earned $946.1 million, or 81 cents per share, it reported Tuesday.

That's up from $762.4 million, or 62 cents, a year earlier.

McDonald's (MCD, Fortune 500) revenue climbed 6% to $5.6 billion.

Tuesday's results handily beat Wall Street forecasts.

Analysts surveyed by Thomson Financial expected a quarterly profit of 70 cents on revenue of $5.4 billion.

For getting a hamburger chain here, I rather hope "FLAME IT BURGERS" will come instead.
