I do not understand why they would do that, I guess we will ask to see the person in charge next time and explain why we are there and what we do... maybe that will help... who knows..

It is weird every time something stupid or something nobody can explain is going on here it is always "company policy"

    McDonald in Dumaguete City

I just happened to see "Dumaguete Forum" while searching for sun.star web.
I am from Dumaguete City. I reside now in northern california. Just got back from a two week visit back in Sept. I am excited to know Dumaguete is going to build malls and to top with that a McDonald, WOW! I am really excited. And
you guys are moving to Dumaguete from the United States? I read also you are building a house in Dawin (another wow). So guys good luck on your new
home. Hoping to go back in a couple of months. I am really proud of my city.
Good luck again and thanks for creating this forum.

    Hi Swany,
    Welcome to Dumaguete Info...

We recently moved to Dumaguete (1 Danish and 2 Americans) and we could not find the information we wanted about the area online while we were searching for a house in Dumaguete, so after we finally found a house here and moved here we decided to fill the information gap there seemed to be about Dumaguete.

This is a pet project of ours and we hope that we will be able to promote tourism business and studying in Dumaguete City fwith this website.

McDo could be a junkee, but the point here is that Dumaguete is rising much like other cities.

In moderation I think it is okay. That may mean different things to different people, but I just hope it doesn't contribute to an overall decline in health in Dumaguete. Americans are among the most unhealthy people in the world, and I can promise you much of it is due to the readily available fast food choices we have here (coupled with insufficient time/motivation for exercising).

I will tell my friend Marilyn to stay away from the new McDonald's, though

Its about time we get a McDonalds! I've heard it so many times.

I'll believe it when I finally see that bright yellow M!

I think it will definitely be a hit.
