don't jump on that train.
About Melvin the (Alaska) Bush Baby....
Hello RHb ,
Little by little people come to know me. It is with me nothing else then with others. Am I arrogant ? Far from that , just an ordinary Guy that goes certain places , and that is how I make my living.
Either you like me for what I REALY AM , or.. not.. Whatever people judge me for it is THEIR perception and I am not willing to make them change their minds. Most people don,t even want to become "converted". Anyway . Just to let you know.. I had a BALL with writing my replies to him ..
I can imagine he must be pretty lonely ( Lonely , I am Mister lonely ? ) thus no friends worth to mention or of his " kind ".There are more mentals running outside then indoor as we all know..
Perhaps physical impotent ( mental I am sure of ) and / or extreme small genitals and is seeking for some kind of compensation for that ,though I believe that cannot be found in hiding yourself behind " the painted smile " A Vacuumpump is well designed for that purpose ,also calledla penis enlarger. Perhaps not a bad Idea for him to go To "the American Invention "
and show on television ,that he can aply that also on his limited brains.. Pretty sure nobody that shares his life , but then again who would.. Perthaps only Henry :D Life is now slipping through his fingers and he feels that need to be in the picture at any cost...Just drinking whatever he can lay his hands on is not safisfying anylonger.. so he jumps " the Board" that is our forum.. Big hand , for Mister Emty Pants !!:p
My goal is to keep this forum a sound board for USEFULL INFORMATION , either positive or negative about the aspects of life here.
I KNOW ( my informatioon might just be a little better then that of the average member here) lots of visitors that click on DUMAGUETEINFO are amazed by all the infor on such a wide variety of subjects .. one cannot find anywhere else !
If the temperature of your cream cheese and the identity of a forum poster are such a big, overwhelming concern for you fellas, than you need to find a life.
Trust me darling , all of us here did already way ago...
Tell me ,how does it feel to be one cart short of a full deck ?
Since you claim to be a pilot :
WHERE does the expresion H L H stands for ??
And would you use that in Alaska by any chance ?? And more important WHEN ?
Be carefull darling with your answers .. If you mis.. I will know you are a fraud......:p
Helloooo!? Where is everyone?
Well done Earl
chinese businessmen are like that they do not mind the bad effects or low - no quality of the products they are selling as long as they are raking in money. i do not think he is losing money. he should pay the taxes because the sidewalk vendors are paying their share i strongly say he should pay his own share. yeah i think you should post a pic of him
why post a pic of him? what for?
Yes lets get some more competition
I have to say, that I too find the lack of alternatives to Super Lee Placa and Hypermart in Dumaguete a bit fustrating.
There are many things wrong with these two places i.m.o., aircon not working or not turned up enough, many products are of lousy quality, lousy customer service (i.e. no toilet paper in toilet, you need to bring your own), tiring car park counter procedure in Lee Placa and much else.
We often go to Cebu just only for shopping, and the opening of a Robinson in Dumaguete will be highly welcomed by my family. It has always been a mystery to be that none of the big chains like Robinson or Gaisano were present in Dumaguete, when they are present in many much smaller citys around the country.
Surely Dumaguete is much to large and attractive a market to leave it to Mr. Lee to have it all by himself. And finally it appears, that at least Robinson have waken up to this fact. Hopefully some true competetion can "sharpen up things" a bit in the existing places as well.
As for Lee Placa and Hypermart not earning any money for the last 3 years, one of the best periods for economic growth and profits globally and a period, where wealth in Dumaguete have obviously increased at a quite fast rate. Hmm. I don`t think so, but I guess that cheating with taxes is quite normal in the Filippines. And to be honest most multinational companies also somehow manages to not earn a single dime in countries that have anything but the very lowest corporate tax rates. So this kind of behavior is centainly not unique for Mr. Lee.
I guess it's a test of guts. And really...I don't support it 'cause it's suicide.
Some folks here think they can slander anybody in this forum and get away with it! I am scared of your arrogance and some here are too proud to post their pics and tell people here who they are ( diplomat? ) makes you an easy target. You'll find yourself floating DEAD while snorkling and since our forensics here are in the jurassic period....they will just call it drowning.
Did you guys know that the only people that the rebels and terrorists are afraid of are Americans? The rest can be easily preyed on because their government cannot shake the Philippine government not like how the US shakes and chokes the Philippine government and the corrupt if something happens to their citizens here. Not to brag but that's reality...even the national mob circle won't even target Americans for kidnapping ( believe me 'cause I am close to them ). The reason...they don't want the FBI here to hunt them. Look at what happened to Abu Sayaff....they're still running and hiding to these days.
If you guys have proof, bring it over to the court or to DTI ( Department Of Trade and Industry ) and file a complaint. That's the proper way to do..other than that don't shop there and quit bitchin' and moanin' here! Remember..locals can read English very well and can spell 'em better than any of you guys.
If you don't have any proof, quit talking about it because it's just " hearsay ". Talking about things that you can't support or even support can cost your life here...frankly speaking. You don't know who Mr. Lee is and his connections....I don't. I'm not related to him or know him personally but talk to the locals what they know about him. You guys might think it's funny but it's a different jungle out here and learn the culture very well to understand how you should live here. Leave your western culture behind if you want to continue to enjoy here and blend well with the people. My 2 cents.
just don't shop there.
the public market and the paunay offers cheaper and fresh products. dry goods however, we still buy at LEE for convenience, but we do check the expiry dates and make sure we don't buy the expired ones. Caveat Emptor (Buyer Beware).
if you'd like to save a little more when buying dry goods, there's this small store opposite Building 1 Public Market, on the same block as Bangko Filipino. Forgot the name but they are a little bit cheaper than LEE. it's hot there though because it does not have air conditioning so you might want to shop early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
