    Wedding Questionnaire

Byyy, maybe the following questionnaire will help with your planning.
Do you have a list of all the required steps and paperwork?
Do you have all the documentation required?
Do you have the 6 month residency requirement?
How much do you want to spend?
How many people do you want to invite?
Do you want to give them food and drinks?
Do you want to rent a hall for the reception?
Do you want to buy his and her rings?
Do you want to rent or have made a wedding dress?
Do you want to buy a barong?
Do you want to send out invitations?
Do you want to hire a videographer and/or photographer?
Do you need to hire transportation?
Do you need to reserve a place for a honeymoon?
Do you want to hire a singer or guitar player?
Do you want a church wedding, judge, or mayor?
Do you want to hire a makeup artist?
Do you have to provide outfits for maid of wedding party?
    Have you identified your sponsors?
This list should help get you started. The upfront paper work is key.
Good luck, depending on what you decide, we can guide you to places.

Don't be discouraged comparing a foreigner's wedding to what you can afford. My brother-in-law in the Santa Catalina mountains had a very nice and inexpensive wedding and reception. They had the wedding in a church then everyone went to a small home in the hills for lechon baboy, native chicken, rice, etc.. Everyone chipped in and helped out with the cost and cooking. I enjoyed the experience as much as he did when he came to my wedding. However, the paperwork is key and it appears never ending so give that priority and look into the cost of everything. There is a fee for everything. Good luck, persevere, ask for help from relatives and friends from both sides.

I'm planning something like that originally, but my girl wanted something elegant. And we know how much in an "elegant" worth today:D. But since this is a once in a lifetime experience, I will try to grant her wish.:o
