    Must try Gumbo sometime
by the way Yabs (me being from the Uk)whats wrong with our food.
Have you tried our English/Irish Stew?...or even Scouse Pie or try Blind Scouse
(thats stew without the meat ) because you cant see any meat.hehehe
Its a mixture of Vegetables with your choice of meat simmered slowly maybe a bit like Gumbo.
    "Have a Nice Day".....regards JB

shepherads pie and roast beef and yorkshire pudding of course are good as is irish stew but there is not a lot else to be proud of
Its almost impossible to get a good steak.
Eurepean food is the best IMHo , german, Swiss etc.
Which Is probably why Le Chalet serves the best food in town

Yabs... its True the French, the Italians, the Swiss are famous for their food as for the Germans they are famous for their sausages (no jokes please).however I was referring to home English cooking...but if you want a steak I will cook you a Ribeye steak or maybe a Sirloin or how about a nice Rump steak ? Like in any Country if you want the best you pay for the best. The Uk has its own good chefs...keep posting Yabs your a star:smile:.....regards john
