I believe he was pointing out that the comments from the article seemed to come off as a bit discriminating. I also believe there was a fair amount of sarcasm in that post.

Also, if you feel someone is in violation of the rules hit the "Report" button so that the questionable content gets brought to my attention faster. Also please don't add text within quotes. Makes it look like the person said something they didn't.

    From the article:

    " . . . smelly sea water" [Who doesn't love the seaside-location?]

" . . . plenty of white men and even blacks in that town." [What? you mean there's blacks too? Who let THOSE people into the country?]

"A lot of old white men in this town walking around with 19 year old looking girls . . . " [And the problem is . . . ?]

You can also take the Resort World Hotel shuttle bus that has a scheduled trip every 30minutes-its free, all you need is to register at the hotel first floor information centre and you will get a member card in 5minutes. Once your in the Resorts world drop off area, you can take taxi and the security officer will even record the plate number. i guess its the reasonable/cheapest and safest way to get a cab especially for the women.

I think he was referring to the metered taxis and not the ridiculous ones (fixed price) that will charge you (read: rape your wallet) 25USD to go from terminal 3 to terminal one. The yellow metered taxis can have a ridiculous line if you get off the plane at the wrong time. I find it best to walk away from the airport to main road and find a taxi there. NAIA really needs to do something about those fixed rate taxis. They are freaking con artists and they always try to take you to a hotel where they make a commission.....which always is a complete sh*t hole.

FYI there are shuttle buses within the airport that can take you to your next terminal that are completely free. Just ask a guard where to find it (it is very well hidden and the signs aren't placed very well).

How ever after saying all that I must admit my greatest fear is not be assassinated by a tandem motorcycle team but by being shot by a guard in the back for entering the exit or existing the enter lane while texting going into the mall. That is a significant offense here. My second greatest fear is that rusty old shot gun with a 20 year old shell just may explode and kill many people in the mall.

":I am walking out of a department store, I am the only one in the area at the moment, I try to go out the incoming lane (No one else is around) and the guard insist I go out the outgoing lane."

Remember the guards and most of those working in the corporate type establishments here are not taught/required to think or handle situations but only to follow the scrip given to them. Accepting that concept make living, meaning surviving here, a little bit easier.
