    Have anyone ever noticed that for the most part, when you are out dining or eating with Filipino friends, the Filipinos will never eat the last piece of food on the table. So, in some ways, they have better etiquette and manners than I do!

    In a Restaurant I don't care. When following a privat invitation I leave something on the plate. Finishing everything is an insult for the host as it means he did not prepare enough food for his guest.

    only in duma where you can find a restaurant named CITY BURGER, but only serves chicken bbq... :D :D

    Well, They should probably observe that one billion people are starving around the globe. And to leave good food to waist is not good sign to show in respect to them.
    So how can not to finishing your food be a sign of good manner and etiquette.
    Of course in most cases we have so much food that we cannot finish it even though how much we want.

    I have found lots of places around PI have specials like "Soap of the day" must say I think the staff are polite and Bubbly!
    I never finish all my meal when visiting relatives or friends because if you do they fill your plate up again!!
