⌛ owning land and property as a foreigner

Speaking of owning land and property has the housing (real estate) bubble burst slowly being felt around the world starting to be felt in Dumaguete in particular or the PI in general? Its really interesting that investors mostly are responible for this mess and I hope they lose their shirts and bring down real estate prices around the world so that real people that want to live in a particular place will be able to afford to.
