True about the peace there, but, unless the road has been fixed lately, it is total crap !

Not much into camping in phils. There's bugs and snakes there . I do like hanging with the house lizzards on the walls . My 4 year old will be impressed.

I read that one too. I'm going to be patient and just keep looking. Ready to pounce at the right moment. We have plenty of time so no big deal. As long as they don't quit making San Miguel before I get there then life will be good lol. I am so looking forward to getting back to phils. The most wonderful place on earth in my book. But I wear rose colored glasses.

Yes the road was not that good , but I made it up and down with asawa & some pinoy kid hanging on the fender of my scooter . The smarter choice would be to ride in a vehicle there . But I would go there again , it was beautiful and I found the folks up there very nice .

I went up Twin Lakes last month, the road is not too bad on a bike at all and indeed the only public transport up there is motorcycle taxi. Camping is possible up there and though they do charge a fee, it's very low, only 50 pesos, less than what the other park in the area a bit like Twin Lakes, Lake Banalan charges for camping. They charge a hefty 150 I think but there is better amenities there, swim pool, CR's, restaurant.
