Not? We are talking of badjao, right. Bajau, also written as Badjao, Badjaw or Badjau. They cannot make living on traditional way anymore because of various reasons. They have moved on to new hunting grounds. Human nature. Look in the mirror. Feed me :D

to break into properties and steal what other people earned with honest work.

what a crap, another glorification of scumbags and criminals.

maybe someone should digg out Errol Flyn to make a new Hollywood movie, He was pretty famous to make Blockbusters about criminals and glorify their good heart and that they had no other chance in life than stealing and murdering

    Exterminate all the brutes

glorify? not me. never. But the fact is this is their country more than ours, we are guests. This is a question to government but maybe not their highest priority. Suggestions here how to deal with badjao, makes me scared. We nothing learnt from history...

Saw a documentary showing how badjao in early age develop ability to see under water with no goggles, adaptation of eye. No joke, this was scientific. Maybe we should learn from badjao, from those who still know sealife, how many left... and teach them basics of balancing pressure across the eardrum, e.g. breaking drum not so smart

    Science is knowledge

funny but rude is also synonymous with low-browed Q.E.D.

Remember clearly the documentary. Another source: Underwater vision - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
...The Moken people of South-East Asia are able to focus underwater to pick up tiny shellfish and other food items [1]. Gislén et al. have compared Moken and European children and found that the visual acuity of the Moken was twice that of their European counterparts.[5] This ability appears to be due to training rather than evolution or genetics.[6]...

??? there is nothing rude in my statement.

your link simply says that a trained eye sees more than a untrained, what is nothing scientific at all.

    a trained basketball-player plays better basketball than a hurdle-printer...
Like your friends nowadays know more about begging and breaking into houses and properties like most of us here.

I recognize many underwater-creatures without a mask because of knowledge of the environment and 3000 plus hours under water where I learned a lot about shades, colors specific movement of creatures, knowing which species can be found where.

even seeing clear under water without mask is no rocket-science but a thousands of years old technique, no evolution, no nothing but a simple "how to"

I don't think anyone is disputing the "expertise" of those on land either. They are very expert at what they do!
