A look at the construction of Robinsons.

The actual building of the mall has yet to begin, but there are tons of materials around:





From what I could tell, this huge machine seemed to be drilling out this muddy water from deep underground:

 

Everyone's just excited about the Robinson's mall. It is expected to be completed in less than a year. Or so they say.

I used to work at nearby TeleTech. I gathered from my former officemates that it is being worked on double time, much like the construction of the TeleTech building which was done in about 8 months?

Well considering its size, I personally think it would take a bit longer than that.

Any news about the Robinsons? We will come again this December to dumaguete and i hope the robinsons will be open then? any schedule?

McDonald's in Dumaguete too!

We do have a McDonald's which opened sometime in March. It's located in front of the Quezon/Rizal Parkand corner Alfonso XIII street which is now renamed as Perdices street. Good location but doesn't have a drive thru.

i think in the picture these are cranes and piling machines. and also buckhoes to excavate the land for foundations. i think all will be well. no worries about swamp area.
