    robinsons and sm malls

I heard that the Robinson's mall has changed the design from just a mall to a mall similiar to the one at the Power Plant in Makati. So, there will be a mall on the first 3-4 floors and condo's on top of this. Also, I heard that SM Mall's has bought a school's property and will demolish the school and build their mall there.

    well more great rumors! :D
If you read back in the thread you will see that some one posted the plan is currently to have a hotel on the third floor. now condos, hmm.

SM too? Well it's been two years since they have a fence with Robinsons painted on the side of it and nothing more. So probably in the next 10 we will see an SM mall.

Then one must ask where will the traffic go?, the electric come from? et al.
And one sewage treatment plant in Quezon park I don't think will handle all that.

Maybe the cart is before the horse:wink:

if you don 't like duma because it has no malls
    then why stay there?
if you are some sad cretoin that likes malls
then kindly f*ck off to cebu or manilla or preferably the US who invented the hideous things
I never moan about duma as i like it and thats why I moved there
I wouldn't like to see it change though, it has all i need

Robinsons to finish Dumaguete mall by mid-2009

Gokongwei-owned Robinsons Land Corp. said Friday it expects to complete construction of its first shopping mall in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental by the middle of 2009.

Located within the Dumaguete central business district, the mall will have three levels and will be the only full service mall in the city.

Robinsons said the project will include an 80-room hotel and a trade exhibit hall, covering 3,000 square meters.

The company currently operates three shopping malls in key cities in the Visayas namely Bacolod, Iloilo and Cebu. It also has another mall in Tacloban, which is expected to be operational soon.

Robinsons, a unit of conglomerate JG Summit Holdings Inc., owns 20 malls, 23 residential condominiums, five office buildings and three hotels.

Rhoody...here in UK the big Supermarket chains are buying up sites just to stop their opposition from getting a foothold
Maybe that is what is happening in Dumaguete...prime site kept away from SM etc
    and gaining in value anyway!
    regards JB:smile:
