You know, that is true in a lot of cases.
I have met guys who hide behind their computers and in real life, they aren't the same people.
Sometimes they are, but not always.
Try it some time, it is amazing.

You have your opinion and I have mine.....

    A man with integrity,

    Benjamin

    Dear Kenny,

I don't know about you status here in Philippines, tourist or married, homeowner and a resident. I am a Permanent resident in Philippines, earn a living here because I am helping out in the medical field. I don't need to work, but as a Permanent resident, being a part of the community I like to help the Filipino people the best I can. I do NOT see myself as a guest here nor am I treated as a guest by my filipino friends, they treat me more like as if I am a citizen. I am not critical of Philippines, but I welcome improvements and therefor I write about things that I think can be changed to the better.
Remember, many filipinos read what we are writing on DI, and many agree with us and would like to see a change in the community.
Stay possitive and believe in the good as I do! It can only get as good as we try to make it....

    I LOVE PHILIPPINES!

    Benjamin

I am who I am.... behind my PC or having dinner with friends.

Don't listen to PatO's writing...it is his opinion.... maybe some of my writings hit a sore spot in him...Who knows.... I prefer sober chat rather than a personal attack, especially if I have never met the person.

Some guys are worse when you meet them than they are behind the computer. Try them, you will be surprised.

    Again,,,,my opinion.

    Have a great time!

    Benjamin

Yes, that's pretty much what I was saying.
People do seem to put on a different personna on the computer than what they present in a face to face conversation.
Using the computer almost eliminates the human element and is more like writing in a journal in that a person tends to forget that a human is at the other end, reading all of this.
Opinions are welcomed by me as long as they don't become personal and I like being able to express mine without being personally attacked as well as anyone else, but at times we all tend to forget and slip up.

You are 100% correct. I restrain myself on this forum because it is a public discussion and I do allow that you might not be as pompous as you sound on here.

As to your questions. I have been married to a my wife for 30 years. I have 2 daughters born raised and educated here now in the States and doing very well. I am a permanent resident. I have had businesses here and have worked here under an employment visa in the past but am now retired.

I hope we can meet someday so I can tell you exactly what I think of you over a beer or two.
