Yeah she hasnt lived in the philippines since 1978 so i dont think that will help . Thanks for the help and i will try and get more out of her. Have a awsome day...

 

well if she is evasive about it sometimes it is better to leave it, if she has avoided contact with her family she will have had her reasons for it, maybe take her on a trip to the Filipines and you get more out of her?

 

it is hard to trace like that..... there are so much people in the philippines.

 

It's not that hard if you have the real name, you already know the place where she grew up, knows the brothers names. Getting her last name is not impossible, it should be in her passport, other pertinent IDs, 1978 is not long time, school registrars would still have records of her records in Dipolog, Statistics Office etc.

I think the best way to get this information is by going to Dipolog and talking to the people there themselves. Physically going there may be expensive but this link to a chat room in Dipolog can get you there for the price of an internet connection and you might get the answer you are looking for.

You never mentioned your mother's first name or the reason why you are looking for your mother's family. If she is not interested, why are you? Not that it is any of our business but it's nice to know who we are helping and for what reasons.

Just because his mom is not interested does'nt mean he would not be interested to know where his family came from, he have the right to know and he wants to know, that is a very well good reason!

 

He has all the right to find out, I just want to know his specific reason for wanting to know, that's all, just curious.
