280P a day is EXCELLENT pay for the Philippines, especially in a retail position!

Experienced construction guys, who in my opinion work much harder, often don't make that much!

Many retail or food-industry employees are "trained" to tell the mimimum salary or slightly above even to their closest friends (the truth can be uncovered after 2 red horse)

Having said this, some get the minimum on paper, minus SSS, PhilHealth, Staff Uniform, staff-meals, etc. so the net is somewhere between 100 and 180 Peso a day.

Fwiw, kiosks at Robbinsons run about p16,000 a month. I asked at the corn on the cob place and fruit shake place. The shops against the wall are p21,000/mo.

Shops in the middle are higher and also pay a monthly percentage.

it is almost similar with the management course..it's just that in entrepreneurship you own the business and at the same time you take risks, whereas in management you simply manage  it only depends on you whether you will pursue it

If you own the business you'll need to know how to manage it..di ba?

I thought maybe as someone in her 4th year you could give her some insight as to whether the entrepreneur course was worth taking. Since I don't see how they stretch that subject into 4 years?

If you have time to enlighten her in person, we will buy you lunch.

(Who said there's no such thing as a free lunch?) :D
