There is nothing similar to the NPA in the USA.

Since the NPA was founded in 1969, over 40,000 Filipinos have been killed in attacks and fighting.

There is ongoing warfare since 1969 between the government and the NPA, on virtually every significant island in the Philippines.

For over 38 years, the NPA has made frequent assaults and bombings on military units, police stations, government buildings, airports, infrastructure etc.

There is no group in the USA waging daily armed warfare against government/public targets. If they did, they would be promptly squashed.

 

Sarasota is a popular resort town, with a substantial number of well-to-do residents. It attracts visitors from around the USA.

Being a generally affluent area with beaches, naturally it will also attract some criminals and a few crazies.

If you visited a city with a comparable number of people in the middle of Kansas or Oklahoma, you would find considerably less crime.

So you are the one using misleading comparisons.

And your solution for these people would have been...what? Stay home from work? Don't work at their dream jobs because of a remote, yet real possibility of an attack? Live there lives in cower waiting for the next attack? Many of those same people are probably still working in high rises in New York City, now knowing the threat, because they want to.

Just like people, including foreigners, living there lives in Negros because they want to, even with the understanding of the threats. And nothing you will write or post will change that.
