I worked 10 years for "America Online" troubleshooting web pages,as well as removing pages with offensive content. It became boring to me so I moved on to troubleshooting software and OS issues. that was much more challenging. But now I repair pc's and still trouble shoot Windows issues.and software conflicts, familiar with all windows platforms,especially XP and Vista. currently beta testing the new windows 7. So far not real impressed with it its kind of a blend of xp & vista.. I think XP is a good OS all around, Vista is ok but you need a lot of ram for it to run well, I am currently using vista on my laptop with 4gig ram and it runs as well as xp.. Is PC repair maybe a good idea for a buisness in DGT area? And if you guys/girls have any guestions about windows I wil be happy to answer if i can, if not I can find the answer.Along with the computer work I am attending school full time for a criminal justice degree. maybe useless but only have a year left.

I'm sure there are great way to make money in the Philippines through a business, but I don't think PC repair is the way.

As for your question about SEO. It's not that simple. SEO in itself doesn't generate a revenue stream. SEO is simply an umbrella term for methods to build your site in a way to best take advantage of the search engine algorithms. Everything from following the webmaster guidelines published by Google to the more arcane methods of guessing how the algorithms work by analyzing feedback from experimentation.

SEO should just be one strategy in your campaign to market your site (adwords could be another.) Ideally, the search engines should not be your main sources of traffic, but some people monetize by creating "made for Adsense" sites which are basically meant strictly to feed Google lots of data and get users to click on the ads because your content is otherwise crap (visitors basically use your ads as an escape route.)

Building a site to make any sort of decent money in ads is not a short term method of making money. A new site usually has to age at least six months before getting much search engine love. Given that delay, there is no time like the present to get started. Don't worry about doing things wrong, just get going. Everyone makes mistakes in the beginning.
