⌛ Some exuberant praise for your lady,

Ok, as far as being really stupid goes (me).....when I lived in Houston, I had a live-in for 11 years that was a Vietnamese "former model". Over the first 5 or 6 years, she conned me into putting things in both of our names, in case "something happened" to me. Over the next 5 years she proceeded to sell my house to her sister, sell my classic Corvette to another sister, both for pennies on the dollar and slowly remove about $110,000 from our bank account (and she didn't work). So, could I be any worse off here? I don't think so.
Please be considerate and keep the stupid comments at a minimum.

Whichever way you look at it, good or bad, it is ALWAYS a LEARNING experience. I guess it is just a better place to learn out here in the Philippines .. Enjoy the experience and enjoy the lifestyle .. Hard to get nowadays in most countries ..

It sounds more like there may be a bit of insecurity as well as perceiving foreign men as threats....

My advise to the local men & it's not very complicated......As long as you are willing to work hard, respect, treat, and take care of your woman right you wouldn't have to worry about your woman running off with foreigners......Make sense? If you can't take care of your woman, someone else will...LOL.

I have seen enough successful relationships with people of different age, financial & physical attributes........Cheers to all the old, fat, rich foreigners (or anyone for that matter) hooking up with local hotties.

 

Why get an orphan, wouldnt do it your self is cheaper? I think do it your self is better. Again I could be f@#$kin wrong...

 

Well, all things considered, this is an "interesting" country to live in it does keep you alert, to say the least.
1. Being paid-off by canidates.
2. Having to pay-off the LTO when stopped.
3. Having to find the right "fixer" to get something done.
4. Having to deal with any government office
5. Dealing with perceived or real local customs.
6. Having to deal with perceived or real relatives.
7. Always being stared at everywhere, because of nose or skin color.
8. Dealing with your wife/girlfriend/overnighter.
9. Realizing that foreigners pay a higher price for everything.
10. Dealing with anything not mentioned above.

All in all, it is a fun place to be......or I'd go someplace else.
