    Mulang ,unsa pa, nitibo sa negros pero mag ‘maninglis’ nalang gyud ta ani para sa atung mga prens.

    (Ofcourse , what else then, a native of negros but we all have to speak in english for our friends. )

    hi pickled newt, if you don't mind me asking, where are you in UK? we are from Newcastle- northeast of england. it's nice to hear someone in the same country.

    Nice to hear from UK people too Chrissar. This is a feel good factor for many Dumagueteneos to have like you who chose to move down to Dumaguete . We are living in the southeast of England in Essex , near London. We only passed by New Castle on the way to Scotland during our past trips. It’s a beautiful city and also Edinburough which I missed out the chance of seeing. So much to see with only little time.

    bisdak is an acronym/short cut for bisayang dako, a local term which means, though not literally, a genuine Bisaya.

    further, pareho ra diay ta: we are the same

    A genuine one? You mean one that was born and raised there?

    What is a fake one....one that pretends? Would that be a bis-bola? :D

    I think my girlfriend qualifies as a bisdak.
