    I was only in the area once about 10 years ago - not sure of the name of the places we went but there were some nice beach resorts on the road north from subic -

    interesting link yabs....north asia strikes again and the elected officials are in it for a quick buck

    politicians in general are the bottom feeders of the world... with rare exceptions ...Ghandi comes to mind

    I am sure there must be a more environmentally friendly place to locate the power plant but some crony with connections probably owns the land there and is making a tidy profit -speculation on my part , but it would be typical

    yes Korea strikes again
    it all makes no sense though as i thought they were pushing subic for tourism
    and a duty free shopping zone etc
    don't think anyone will visit a power stattion.
    hope greenpeace gets involved.
    well i've read about the three canopy rainforest so i'll go and take a look before it goes.
    seems we now live in the worst times if you are a nature lover
    greed has more or less destroyed it all.
